The 1330kg (Tare) Mitchell has a solid body shell of powder-coated zincanneal and marine-grade aluminium panels with insulated fibreglass/aluminium composites and a fibreglass pop-roof and floor.
CTA reviewer and camper enthusiast John ‘Bear’ Willis took the Mitchell for a spin around the Goulburn River near Acheron, Vic, and was clearly very impressed with it.
“The Mitchell has plenty going for it and rates as one of the most attractive campers I have tested to date,” Bear said. “Its immediate success in the market place speaks volumes.”
He labelled the camper’s ‘ease of use, great selection of features, raised and secure living area, 30° departure angle and relatively light weight’ as the best bits, noting that the camper could do with a second battery as standard as the only negative.
“The Mitchell is one of the fastest, easiest and most pleasing of all campers to set up,” Bear said.
