The latest version of the company’s four-to-six berth flagship model combines starry views from Opus’s signature leather u-shaped lounge with some of the most popular conveniences known and loved by Aussie camping enthusiats today.

New track-friendly upgrades will include a cutaway rear for greater clearance out bush, two 20L jerry can holders suitable to increase water storage on tour and locally-designed coil spring suspension with twin dampers on each wheel.

Other standards to debut in the Mark II include a built-in shower, a powered and lit storage area for an 80L fridge, slide-out kitchen with worktop, sink and four-burner cooktop and an external 240V mains power outlet to help make the most of camping at powered sites.

A new dual-purpose stoneshield to brace the front bed and sturdier swing-out supports for the one at the rear will provide added reassurance to campers as they slumber, no matter how windy the conditions.

Customers can view the new Opus Melbourne Leisurefest Opus late September-early October 2016.
