As previewed in Camper Trailer Australia earlier this year, the Opus Mark II will be on show from October 6-9 at Sandown Racecourse, Vic.
The camper is an updated version of the older Opus Camper, with heavy-duty coil spring independent suspension, dual batteries, standard sound system and other upgrades.
OPUS director Malcolm Hill said the Mark II was designed to be tougher, more luxurious and more user-friendly than ever - at the request of Opus customers.
“The main upgrades in Opus Mark II are the heavier duty underpinnings, an increased list of standard equipment and detail improvements suggested by OPUS owners,” he said.
“Thanks to feedback from Opus owners, we have given the Mark II real-world improvements such as dual batteries, a bigger storage box and re-designed bed supports.
The Mark II range will include a four-berth model with dual-folding mechanism as well as a more compact forward-fold double sleeper.
Opus is is already taking orders for the Mark II, the first of which is expected to be delivered in October, while orders taken at Leisurefest are expected to be filled by early 2017.
