INGREDIENTS

  • 500g beef or chicken mince
  • 2 tbsp chicken stock powder
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 tsp curry powder
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice uncooked
  • ½ cabbage shredded
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 carrot, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

METHOD

Brown the mince in a large pan. Add water and stock, and bring to the boil.

Add all other ingredients and simmer until the rice is cooked and vegetables are tender.

Add water as required if it begins to dry out too much.
