More Power on the Road

REDARC has launched its compact, portable, dual battery system with ultrafast charging while driving.

GoBlock can be used in a variety of applications that require remote, vehicle and solar rechargeable portable power, perfect for 4WDs, campers and caravans.

Anthony Kittel, Managing Director at REDARC, said the product is a culmination of customer feedback and market research relating to the limitations of existing 4WD battery systems.

“This highly engineered product features the latest in REDARCS’ proprietary DC charging technology which takes the guess work out of designing and building your own battery system,” he said.

“I am excited for the owners of Ford Rangers and Mazda BT-50s among others who can’t fit a dual battery system under the bonnet, as this is the perfect solution.”

Showing off the GoBlock

GoBlock has been built for tough outdoor terrains and the USB, accessory, Merit, fridge and Anderson outputs allows for charging of smart devices, phones, cameras, drones and can power lights, compressors and even fridges.

GoBlock provides 2000 cycles, some 4x greater cycle life than other brands on the market, with its lithium iron phosphate battery cells and is capable of charging a 100Ah lithium battery in two hours.

It features an AC charger, DC charger, MPPT solar regulator, battery monitor and the lithium battery itself, while remaining compact.

GoBlock can connect to REDARC’s smartphone app, RedVision via Bluetooth to give users access to battery levels, system diagnostics and input source connection.

The GoBlock should last for roughly twice as many cycles as competing products

A feature unique to GoBlock is a Start Battery Recovery (SBR) feature that, when connected to the app, enables users to safely recover a flat start battery.

The unit is available as a 50 or 100Ah model and comes with two-year warranty, with the product a testament to REDARC’s dedication to innovation and providing Australian-made products to the market, especially with more Australians demanding portable and off-grid rechargeable power.
